San Rafael Argentina

San Rafael is a city in the semi-arid province of Mendoza, bordering Chile by the Andes. The sycamore-filled streets converge in St. Martin's Square, where there are cafés and the neo-rromantic cathedral of San Rafael Archangel. In summer, it is possible to practice whitewater descent on the Diamante River, which runs through the city, and on the Atuel River, further south. Famous vineyards, which produce malbec and other red wines, surround the city.
