Dia 1: Bari
Saturday: Central Apulia Arrival in Bari/Barletta and check-in at the hotel (check-in starts at 4:00 p.m.). Before dinner, meet with your guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Bari/Barletta area or surroundings.
Dia 2: Gargano
Sunday: Central Apulia - Trani - Barletta - Monte Sant’Angelo - Gargano Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Trani, with a visit to the Cathedral overlooking the sea. Continue to Barletta for a stroll through the historic center, admiring key monuments such as the Norman-Swabian Castle, the Basilica-Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colossus (commonly known as “Heraclius”), and the “Challenge Wine Cellar.” Lunch included. Proceed to Monte Sant’Angelo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to visit the Sanctuary and the Cave of Saint Michael the Archangel. Arrival at the hotel in the Gargano area and dinner.
Dia 3: Gargano
Monday: Gargano - Vieste - Foresta Umbra - Gargano Breakfast at the hotel. Crossing the "Umbra Foresta", the largest deciduous forest in Italy and the heart of the Gargano National Park, you will reach Vieste, the most famous coastal town on the Gargano promontory. Tuesday: Gargano - San Giovanni Rotondo - Bari Breakfast at the hotel and departure for San Giovanni Rotondo, a pilgrimage site visited by devotees from all over the world.
